Join the team taking strides to Activate the Cure for childhood cancer at the 2019 Philadelphia Marathon!

Welcome to the 5th anniversary of the charity partnership between EWF  and the Philadelphia Marathon! Across our four years, #activationnation runners have raised over $143,000 through their Philadelphia Marathon fundraising efforts!

Saturday, November 23 - Kids Fun Run, 8k, Half marathon
Sunday, November 24 - Full marathon

NEW THIS YEAR:

• Those of you who run with us at both the Philadelphia AND Pittsburgh marathon weekends can earn an additional EWF (East West Finisher!) challenge award. 
• ​Earn fun EWF swag as you reach different levels of fundraising (to be announced soon)!
• Please note - you will be charged a $20 registration fee when you sign up with EWF, and this will be counted toward your fundraising minimum.

FUNDRAISING MILESTONES:

• Milestone #1 - Initial Registration - all runners will make an initial $20 donation that counts toward your fundraising goal.
• Milestone #2 - November 1, 2019 - all runners must raise at least $100 by November 1, or you will forfeit your bib.
• Milestone #3 - December 4, 2019 - all runners must meet their fundraising minimum in full by December 4, 2019. If you have not reached your fundraising commitment, you will be responsible for donating the remaining balance.

After you sign up, you will have access to our fundraising packet with ideas and sample letters.

All participants will also be added to our marathon Facebook group, where you can connect with your teammates and share fundraising ideas, training tips, motivational messages!
