How It Works

1. Start Your Fundraiser

Register to create your personalized fundraising page. We've set a recommended fundraising goal of $2,500, enough to help provide approximately 25 Believe Bundles to patients undergoing treatment. Once you register, you'll receive your own fundraising page that you can personalize and share with friends, family, coworkers, and your community.

2. We'll Support You Every Step of the Way

You won't be doing this alone. The Emily Whitehead Foundation will provide:

• A personalized fundraising page
• Sample emails and social media posts
• Fundraising ideas and best practices
• Graphics and promotional materials
• Ongoing support from our team throughout your fundraiser

Our goal is to make fundraising easy, meaningful, and fun.

3. Assemble & Deliver Hope

Once your fundraiser is complete, we'll help bring your impact to life.

Our team will:

• Coordinate your Believe Bundles project from start to finish.
• Provide Believe Bags and decorating materials for your group.
• Procure and prepare the comfort items included in each Believe Bundle.
• Coordinate with a local hospital in your community to schedule the delivery.
• Handle all logistics to ensure a meaningful and successful experience.

Then it's your turn to make a difference!

You'll gather your friends, family, coworkers, or community members to decorate and assemble the Believe Bundles before delivering them to a local hospital.

Together, we'll transform your fundraising efforts into tangible acts of kindness, comfort, and hope for patients when they need it most.

About the Emily Whitehead Foundation

In 2012, Emily Whitehead, at just five years old, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. After relapsing twice and running out of conventional treatment options, Emily became the first pediatric patient to receive CAR T-cell therapy, a groundbreaking treatment that uses the patient’s own immune cells to fight cancer. Against the odds, Emily survived—and today, she is cancer-free, thriving, and living proof that advanced therapies can change lives.

Since its founding, the Emily Whitehead Foundation has paved the way for over 35,000 patients to access CAR T-cell therapy and raised over $2 million for groundbreaking advanced therapies research.

Your effort is helping us support patients and caregivers affected by childhood diseases and advocate for all patients who can be treated with advanced therapies.

The Emily Whitehead Foundation was created by Emily and her family to increase awareness and access to these life-saving therapies, so other children can have the same opportunity for a cure.
